“Discovered this stall by chance that offer $4.50 for 7 xiao long bao. It was great, the quality is as good as the popular restaurants twice the price! The skin or the flour wrapper is thin but firm. The soup or broth is well contained within the wrapper which does not break easily – an art that is not easy to master for this dish.”

“They braised the duck till it’s soft and tender. The meat will almost fall apart when you pick up with the chopsticks. The chilli was just perfect for the duck rice. Price for 2 person including dao gua, egg and fish cake was $13. The portion for the duck was more than sufficient for 2. No wonder the long queue”

“When it first moved to Golden Mile Hawker Centre there wasn’t much queue, thanks to a certain food blogger the queue immediately built up the next day after the post. Charsiew has good charred, well meat-fats-melt-in-your-mouth balance, roasted pork is tender on the meat and crispy on the skin. Still trying to appreciate the super-hyped roasted duck, but will have to wait for a couple of months before the renovation is completed.”

“One of the many stalls at golden mile food centre that always command a long queue. It was probably due to the rain, there wasn’t a crowd during lunch time therefore took this opportunity to have this Yong tau fu. Each item is 60cents and you must choose minimum of 7 items. There was a variety of fried item and vegetable to choose from. You can either have it dry with the bee hoon or soup. My meal was SGD$4.80. The soup was great, so was the different items that I have picked. the items was tasty and fresh.”
